Real estate professionals, esteemed clients, and community members joined together to celebrate the six month anniversary Thursday, Sept. 27, with a fundraiser to benefit Photo Friends LA 501c(3) and the installation of a new mural in the heart of Highland Park.
Guests enjoyed live music, craft cocktails from The Blind Barber, art gallery and silent auction. Renowned artist Frank Romero, the local painter commissioned to complete the mural, was in attendance. As Romero is not planning on painting many more murals at this point in his career, this is a rare opportunity to display his art in the community that was the birthplace of his work.

Pacific Union has partnered with Council District 1 to fund the project. By having the mural on city property the mural will be protected and preserved for the foreseeable future.
“The reason we are working with the community on this mural project is because there is no one artist that represents Northeast Los Angeles like the legendary Frank Romero,” said Bill Cody, Field Deputy for Council District 1 (Highland Park and Mount Washington).
